With the abundance of rain and standing water weíve received, we understand that mowing could be a challenge this spring. As warmer temperatures prevail and lawns begin to recoup, we wanted to pass along some mowing tips for the upcoming season.
Adjust your mower height to 3 1/2 inches for best results. By doing so, you reduce weed and crabgrass population and improve turf color, thickness, and vigor. Also, vertically trimming your edges will reduce your weed and crabgrass germination. Scalping the edges to the dirt promotes weeds and crabgrass.
